The RBC EPIC Founders Program is an intensive 12-week accelerator program for startups and early-stage businesses looking to capture market and customer validation. This year, our 2022 cohort began their journey on May 16th and will continue to work towards validating their business model until the final pitch presentations on August 9th (stay tuned for more details). Leading up to the final pitch, we wanted to take this opportunity to introduce you to each of our startups. Today, meet Yimin Liu, Master of Management, Logistics and Supply Chain Management student, and Founder of TracKIT.
EPICentre: Let readers know a little bit about your background.
Yimin: [I am] currently doing my second master’s degree in logistics and supply chain management at the University of Windsor. My first master’s degree was obtained at the University of Copenhagen (Denmark), majoring in Forest and Nature Management. Prior to both masters, I was working professionally in sustainable supply chain and corporate social responsibility for the telecom industry for three years. Fortunately enough, having the cross sectors background has made me wonder how important the value chain is for the world and how emerging technologies can be useful and practical to resolve the supply chain challenges.
EPICentre: Tell us a little more about your business, TracKIT.
Yimin: TracKIT is a supply chain tech company that provides a blockchain power platform as a service, connecting buyers and suppliers in a one-stop platform to exchange information in an easy, trusted digital environment.
