The VentureStart Program has many benefits which include, but are not limited to:

1. Mentorship, Advisory, and Coaching Services
   We have a network of seasoned entrepreneurs, business professionals, and experts, who are passionate about helping new startups flourish and thrive. In this program, you will have the opportunity to receive dedicated and flexible support depending on your business needs.
2. Access to the co-working space
   Our co-working space is buzzing with passionate individuals working on innovative ideas and solutions. All members in this program will have access to a hot desk during our operating hours (Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm). Members will have access to high-speed wireless internet access and the privilege to book private meeting rooms.
3. Access to Members-only Resources
   Members have access to exclusive resources to help them on their entrepreneurial journey. These include digital guides and videos, invitations to special events, and opportunities to leverage our panel of experts from multiple disciplines and industries.
4. Funding Opportunities
   Funding exclusively for program members occasionally.
5. Community
   We pride ourselves on creating an amazing community of entrepreneurs and business owners. We’ve heard it many times, entrepreneurship can be lonely, and because of that, we try our best to connect you with likeminded folks to share ideas, bond over common interests and exchange valuable tips and insights.
6. Digital Badges
   Members may also have the opportunity to earn digital badges based on specialized milestones, deliverables, and criteria. These digital badges are a unique representation of your entrepreneurial growth and accomplishments to share on digital platforms such as LinkedIn, business webpages, and resumes.

Typically, program applicants have:

• A well-defined idea
• An innovative solution to a compelling problem
• The ability to dedicate time to meet with the program advisory team at least once a month
• Motivation and passion for the idea
• A desire to launch the venture in Canada

The program also looks for startups:

• Founded/co-founded by students or recent graduates (up to 7 years post graduation) from University of Windsor or St. Clair College
• Founded/co-founded by University of Windsor’s faculty members

Step 1:
Application submitted (application can be submitted at any time)

Step 2:
Application will be reviewed on or around the 15th of every month

Step 3:
Decision will be communicated within 5 business days after the application has been reviewed

Step 4:
If accepted, you will be enrolled into the program on the 1st of the month following the decision
