My name is Clay LeBlanc and I worked as a digital creation student assistant at the EPICentre for the spring 2022 semester. I am a first-year student at the University of Windsor majoring in Film Production and took on the opportunity of working at the EPICentre to further my skills in production and editing. While working with the EPIC team I was welcomed in and introduced to so many amazing humans who were passionate about entrepreneurship and the city of Windsor. Not only did I get to expand my skills in production and editing, but I also learned about marketing, and teamwork as well as advanced my skill-set in graphic design.
During the past few months, I have been able to become closer to the Windsor community. Through events like the EPIC Founders program Final Pitch Competition and the International Women’s Day, EPIC Women Entrepreneur Social Media Campaign I was able to learn about upcoming and current entrepreneurs in Windsor-Essex and thus support my local community.
I am overall thankful for the opportunity I was given at the EPICenter. I am enthusiastic about supporting my community and digital creation; being a digital creation student assistant with the EPICentre was an amazing position that allowed me to focus on both of those passions. I am excited about the future of the EPICentre and will continue to support and watch the entrepreneurs of Windsor Essex
