The first ever Fall Founders Cohort is ready to kick off next week with five new founders entering the program. The Roy Verstraete Fall Founders Cohort will include five unique ventures from various disciplines:
Colin Matthews
Company: Walk-In Express
Concept: Walk-in Express aims to provide walk-in clinics throughout Ontario with software tools that will allow them to improve their level of care by decreasing overhead, increasing patient retention, and reducing patient wait times.
Cassidy Logsdon
Company: Sharedome
Concept: Sharedom is an online lending platform that allows users to rent items from members of their community and turn their household items into extra cash.
Joshua Ndolo
Company: Amani
Concept: Amani application is a digital platform for managing, tracking and protecting domestic and international trade transactions between SME’s simplifying trade finances.
Osama Khurshid
Company: Powerlab Systems
Concept: Powerlab Systems is developing a four-wheeled, electric powered scooter used for short distance travel. It serves a similar function to the widely popular two-wheeled “hoverboards”, which have become quite popular over the past year.
Matthew Andrews
Company: Gryphon Homes
Concept: Gryphon Homes is a unique business that connects homeowners, investors and tenants, in order to facilitate a Rent-to-Own real estate transaction. Through doing so, Gryphon Homes solves home ownership issues, home selling issues, and offers investors high rates of return on their investment.
