The Ontario Brain Institute (OBI) has officially launched the 2016 OBI Entrepreneurship Competition. This innovative initiative funds and supports scientists in neurotechnology, science or engineering in entrepreneurial/commercialization opportunities to help establish neuroscience-related companies in the NeuroTech Ontario sector.
Apply today for OBI’s Entrepreneurs Program to develop and commercialize a neurotechnology (technology that can help researchers, clinicians or patients involving a brain disorder or brain health). There will be up to ten awards and the competition is open to scientists, researchers, engineers, developers, designers and others.
The program provides up to $50,000 over a one-year period to help post-graduate students focus full-time on commercialization activities related to a neuroscience-based opportunity.
