Introducing New EPICentre Venture Start Membership

Are you currently working on an innovative idea and would like some help and access to space to help you further develop your idea? If your ventures are still too early (they are either at Discovery or Ideation stage) to be enrolled into EPICentre’s Incubator Program, one of the three Venture Start Memberships may be right for you.

Discovery Member

  • Ventures who are at the ideation or discovery stage in which their ventures are not yet ready to be registered yet
  • Discovery Members will have access to EPIC Odette during business hours (by reservation only), at no charge to work on their projects
  • Maximum term for the Discovery Membership is six months
  • Only current students or recent graduates (within 5 years) of University of Windsor are eligible
  • Discovery Members are eligible to participate in EPIC Mentorship Program

Emerging Member

  • Ventures who are at pre-incubation stage; these are the ventures who have somewhat validated their ideas and in the process of registering their businesses
  • Emerging Members will have access to EPIC Odette during business hours (by reservation only), at no charge to work on their projects
  • Emerging Members will have access to certain programs that are exclusive to EPICentre Incubator Members such as Hang A Single program and EPIC Breakfast Club
  • Maximum term for the Emerging Membership is three months, after which members must apply to become Incubator Members (if they meet the criteria)
  • Only current students or recent graduates (within 5 years) of University of Windsor are eligible

Affiliate Member

  • Start-ups who want access to programs exclusive to EPICentre Incubator Members but do not need physical space
  • To be eligible for Affiliate Membership, businesses must be legally registered
  • Affiliate Members will have limited access to EPIC Innovation (up to 12 hours a month) and by reservation only
  • Affiliate Members will have access to programs that are exclusive to EPICentre Incubator Members such as Hang A Shingle program and EPIC Breakfast Club
  • Current students or recent graduates of any post-secondary institutions or EPICentre Incubator Graduates are eligible
