EPICentre: Tell us a little more about yourselves
J: We are recent graduates of the MBA program here at the University of Windsor. Our company is called The Data Company. We provide data and analytics services to small and medium-sized businesses. 

EPICentre: How did you hear about the RBC EPIC Founders program?
P:  Well it started with our relationship with the Odette School of Business, which lead to us finding out about the EPICentre and the Discovery Program. We were Discovery programs members and then, through the discovery program, we found about the RBC EPIC Founder’s program and thought it was perfect to help us launch our business. 

EPICentre: What skills do you hope to gain while you’re here?
J: I think me and Paul really want to focus on getting better at building our network and reaching out to business owners and executives in the Windsor-Essex Community. We already had a lot of opportunities to do that in our short time here at the EPICentre. We hope to do more of that and improve our abilities to go out and network and make a name for ourselves in the community.

P: This program is also an excellent opportunity to really test our business model and get a better understanding on what’s going to work, what’s not going to work and what our customers really want from us.

EPICentre: Where do you hope to see yourselves and your business by the end of the program?
P: We would like to be launch ready. It would be great if we really had a good, solid model and a solid product to offer, that we really understand what each one of our customers want and we’re prepared to bring that service to the market.
