EPICentre: Tell us a little more about yourself
J: My name is Jesse Thompson and I’m the founder of HaggleFree. My background is in product design, so I create software products and I’ve been doing that for a few years (making software products for other people) and this is the first time that I’m doing it for myself, building my own product.

EPICentre: How did you hear about the RBC EPIC Founders Program?
J: I first heard about the RBC EPIC Founders Program from the Small Business Centre across the street, I was at a workshop there and they mentioned that there were some mentorship opportunities and a bit of funding available for people like me who are just starting new companies. 

EPICentre: What skills do you hope to gain while you’re here?
J: Right now, I’m really all about idea validation, it’s a really great thing for me as a product designer continually designing new product ideas it’s a really good skill for me to learn. So that’s kind of what I hope to get out of the program and learn.By the end of the program, I hope to really have some expertise in idea validation and being able to validate the business model and being able to pivot or justify moving forward with certain business models.
