1. Tell us a little bit about yourself. 

Nigel: Hi my name is Nigel Christian. I am a second year Mechanical engineering student at the University of Windsor. I am currently enrolled in the RBC Founders program with Zain and we are working on launching our first product which is called Secara 1.

Zain: Hello my name is Zain and I am a second year industrial engineering student studying at the university. I have always been the type of person to work for myself and this was the perfect opportunity to do so. In the past I have had multiple startups and am looking forward to work for Eunoia.

2. Tell us about your company

Secare is a enterprise whose goal is to make people’s lives easier. Our goal is to make improvements in the lawn care, electronics and energy industry. Currently we are working on innovating the way lawn care products work.

3. Why do you feel the EPICentre Founders program will be beneficial to growing your company?

The EPICentre Founders program is extremely beneficial to growing our company. They have an endless amount of resources including industry connections and being able to have extremely talented mentors. We feel like this program is a great way to introduce yourselves in the world of entrepreneurship.

4. Why do you feel it’s important to have a company like yours in our community?

Our hopes is this company will motivate the youth in our community and make them realize that anything is possible. As well, our products will make the lives of everyone easier and more efficient all while saving the environment. Furthermore, our company will bring jobs to the community which will help Windsor grow as a city and an innovative force in the canadian economy.

5. Where do you hope to see yourself and your company by the end of this program?

We hope that by the end of this program, our company will have built the prototype for our MVP and have the product in the Canadian market.
