Meet Our Founders: Dignity

July 21, 2020in Blog 0 Comments

Company Name: Dignity
Founder: Gagneet Kaur

1. Tell us a little bit about yourself?
Gagneet is a 4th-year criminology & sociology major with a background in leadership and community development. Being an international student, I am always looking at opportunities to maximize my university experience and the EPIC Founders Program is an amazing opportunity for me to realize my entrepreneurial potential and come up with a product that will make a difference.

2. Tell us about your company?
Dignity is an online care coordination platform designed for the caregiving industry. It is a one-stop destination that will cater to all the communicational and operational needs for all shareholders involved in the industry, including care recipients, care providers, and caregiving agencies.

3. How do you feel the RBC EPICentre Founders Program will be beneficial for your business?
The biggest advantage of being in the Founders Program is that we have access to a plethora of really resourceful individuals who are readily available to help us navigate through the barriers that come up during the various stages of development.

4. Why do you feel it’s important to have a company like yours in our community?
The current turn of events has shown everybody how important essential services like caregiving are for our society. Care providers work extremely hard, which means, long hours and managing multiple clients a day. Dignity will give the industry a platform to streamline its operations by creating a platform where users will have access to all relevant information and manage their communication with their clients effectively.

5. Where do you hope to see yourself and your company by the end of this program?
The goal for the end of this program is to come up with a customer-validated porotype for Dignity, one that assures us success for our business when launched in the market.
