On November 1st, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, the Honourable Elizabeth Dowdeswell, made a visit to the University of Windsor and to the Entrepreneurship Practice and Innovation Centre (EPICentre) for a luncheon. Two students from each faculty selected by their Dean as well as two students who helped bring Syrian refugees to the University of Windsor joined Ms. Dowdeswell and University of Windsor President Dr. Alan Wildeman for the luncheon at EPICentre. In total, 22 students were on hand for this special visit.
The Lieutenant Governor was also given a tour of the EPICentre space, which provided her with an opportunity to interact with some of our current Founders and Incubator members. EPICentre members were given an opportunity to showcase their businesses and ideas and offer some insight into the University of Windsor’s entrepreneurship initiatives.
Below are some photos from the Lieutenant Governor’s visit. Photos were taken by one of EPICentre’s own startups, Shine 5 Productions.
