On Tuesday the 19th, the University of Windsor EPICentre welcomed a brand new cohort to the RBC EPIC Founders Program. An intensive 12-week startup accelerator program for budding entrepreneurs. 7 teams from various industries and faculties began their journey lead by EPICentre Program Led, Sydney Thompson. Throughout the duration of the program, startups will have the opportunity to attend weekly virtual workshops and seminars with industry professionals and distinguished guest speakers. They will receive one-on-one coaching and mentorship from our EPIC Mentors Maureen Lucas and Dave Kirby plus many more benefits including a $6000 stipend funded from RBC to help kickstart their journey.
This years cohort has the added obstacle of completing the program on a completely virtual platform. From workshops to mentorship, our teams will learn to navigate the world of entrepreneurship while socially distancing. On August 6th, the teams will have the chance to compete in the final pitch competition for an opportunity to win a cash prize.
