Hear from speakers about how they started companies through The Next 36, an incubator program for the 36 top students or recent grads from across Canada with big dreams and an entrepreneurial mindset, and learn more about how to apply for summer 2021.
Whether you have a pre-existing early stage startup that you want to take to the next level, or you have an idea that you want to turn into a reality, Next 36 (https://www.nextcanada.com/next-36/) can help, with up to $50,000 in seed capital, a world-class curriculum from May-August 2021 delivered with professors from HBS, MIT Sloan, etc., CEO mentorship, and an amazing alumni network of over 600+ entrepreneurs. The cost of $30,000 per entrepreneur is covered by generous donors, so it is free of charge to participate for accepted entrepreneurs.
Speaker bios:
Cory Blumenfeld (Co-Founder, Caribou): Cory is the co-founder of Caribou, which connects people with expert Healthcare Advisors to navigate the complexities of healthcare. Cory is the previous Co-founder of CoHealth, a digital platform that makes it easier for people to access health-related content from trusted health organizations and promote healthy behaviours. Cory holds a BSc in Health Sciences from Wilfrid Laurier University and is a Next 36 Alumni, 2016. Outside of work, Cory is passionate about travel, healthcare, and rec league softball (call him if you ever need a sub!).
Leah Davidson (Co-Founder, Canduit): Leah is the co-founder of Canduit, an ed-tech platform for project-based learning for students. Leah graduated in business from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and, during her time at NEXT, served as COO of AccessNow. Leah has represented Canada internationally at the UN, Y20, and World Economic Forum and has been recognized as one of the Top 30 Under 30 Sustainability Leaders in Canada by Corporate Knights.
