EPIC Update with Yanni Lu

March 5, 2021in Blog 0 Comments

Welcome to the EPICentre Blog session! I am Yanni, and I will talk about some exciting news!

This week, we had our info session for EPIC Blue Sky Competition. It was a great success; we had a chance to speak with our potential winners and shared some more information about the event. I would like to give a big shout-out to Layan and Nusaibah, who have been very supportive and took over the Info session on Monday due to my schedule. During these couple of weeks, I have received emails inquire about the competition, and I am happy to see students are interested.

I had few opportunities to speak about EPIC Blue Sky Competition in some lectures, and those in-class presentations are new to me. I am glad EPICentre gave me the chance to gain this experience. Professors and students are very supportive and engaging as well.

On Monday, I was honoured to interview Nia Thompson, the Lyric Symone & Co.’s owner. Her positive spirit touches me, and I can see that our interview will bring a lot of joys and knowledge to our audiences interested in entrepreneurship. As a start-up business owner, Nia has excellent experience in time management. Her vision board is so unique and inspiring, and you won’t regret taking some time to watch our interview.

Stay tuned to the Interview with Nia Thompson!
