Master of Applied Computing students at the University of Windsor are looking to gain practical knowledge in their field through Co-Op placement this fall. The 16-month course-based graduate program prepares students for a career in the growing software industry through practical projects, in-class training and internships.
All students moving onto the internship phase of their program will have successfully completed the Transform program modules, offered in collaboration with the Department of Co-Op, Career and Employment Services; This ensures that each student brings the most and gets the most out of their experience. Past graduates of the Master of Applied Computing program have proven to become valuable members of their chosen team, like Vinay Saraf for example.
Students looking for placements specialize in various fields such as Web Development, Software Development, Mobile App Development, Testing, etc. They are eager to get started in their careers and can bring a variety of skills including programming languages (e.g. C, C++, C#, Java, PHP, Python, ASP.NET) and web/internet technologies (e.g. HTML, Java Script, XML, CSS, MVC) to your team. There are several ways to connect potential employers to students such as info sessions, employer pop-ups/meet and greets, webinars or online events and mock interviews/educational learning.
