EPICentre and Hôtel-Dieu Grace Healthcare hosted the Kick-off event for the 2018 3D Print for Healthcare Competition this morning in the EPIC Industrial Hub, as a part of Tech Week YQG. Attendees got the chance to hear more about 3D printing in healthcare, while also observing several 3D printing machines print a model – some EPIC LIVE ACTON. If you weren’t able to attend the event, no need to worry, you can still participate in the competition! Need help with your CAD drawing? Not sure how to actually 3D print your design? Our 3D printing sponsors are more than willing to help you! We have several 3D design and printing resources available, along with some EPIC CASH PRIZES and the opportunity to validate and implement your devices in the field. No experience with 3D printing or healthcare is required!
