Youth Job Strategy Announcement
Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Research and Innovation, Daiene Vernile visited EPICentre on November 13th, to echo the announced $27.8 million investment by Ontario into the Youth Job Strategy, supporting our entrepreneurs. Following the announcement, entrepreneurs from the Windsor-Essex entrepreneurial ecosystem spoke about their businesses, including EPICentre tenants RMRD’s Kyle Bassett, and MLVC’s Matt Lapain. Shortly after the announcements and speeches by the entrepreneurs, attendees were able to learn more about the businesses within the entrepreneurial ecosystem, as numerous startups set up booths to exhibit their business. Lastly, youth entrepreneurs were invited to a round table event whereby they were able to engage in discussions with Daiene Vernile regarding their experiences with the ecosystem, and provide feedback on what they would like to see from the various programs.
