WEtech Alliance fosters innovation and accelerates growth. As one of the fourteen Regional Innovation Centres in the province of Ontario, funded by the Ontario Network of Entrepreneurs, WEtech provides an extensive roaster of programs, advisory services and training to clients and members in the technology and innovation sectors in the Windsor-Essex and Chatham-Kent regions.
Small Business Centre
The Small Business Centre operates as a department of the WindsorEssex Economic Development Corporation in partnership with the Ontario Ministry of Economic Development, Employment and Infrastructure. Belonging to a network of offices that serve Ontario’s small business community, the Small Business Centre is the local source for small business support services.
St. Clair College’s Genesis Entrepreneurship Centre
Genesis Entrepreneurship & Innovation Centre provides students, alumni and faculty with theory and practice based tools designed to help entrepreneurs take a new product or process to market. Genesis offers entrepreneurs the chance to brainstorm, develop viable products and services and proceed through the early stages of commercialization.
Tech Town Detroit
TechTown is Detroit’s business innovation hub. As the city’s most established business accelerator and incubator, they provide a powerful connection to a broad network of resources, catalyzing entire communities of entrepreneurs best poised to energize the local economy. TechTown is a nonprofit and is located within the Woodward Technology Corridor SmartZone.
Windsor-Essex Economic Development Corporation
The WindsorEssex Economic Development Corporation is a not-for-profit organization supported by the City of Windsor and County of Essex and is responsible for advancing economic development to grow and sustain prosperity in the region. The main focus of the organization is to develop and execute strategies to retain, expand, attract and help start up new businesses in the Windsor-Essex region.
Business Resource Centre of Essex County
The Business Resource Centre of Essex County (formerly known as Essex CFDC) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing business financing and counseling to entrepreneurs in rural Essex County. Essex County is a mix of rural/urban communities located in southwestern Ontario. Their service areas are: Amherstburg, Essex, Kingsville, Leamington, Lakeshore, LaSalle, Pelee Island and Tecumseh (excluding Windsor).
The Downtown Windsor Business Accelerator is a not-for-profit business incubator facility in Windsor’s downtown core that offers small businesses the space and tools to help them continue to grow.
Futurpreneur Canada has been fueling the entrepreneurial passions of Canada’s young enterprise for nearly two decades. We are the only national, non-proﬁt organization that provides ﬁnancing, mentoring and support tools to aspiring business owners aged 18-39. Our internationally recognized mentoring program hand matches young entrepreneurs with a business expert from a network of more than 2,800 volunteer mentors.
Windsor-Essex Regional Chamber of Commerce
The Windsor-Essex Regional Chamber of Commerce is the voice of business and professionals in the Windsor-Essex region. They provide member firms with valuable direct services for day-to-day operations, as well as represent the business, professional and industrial community in its relations with the public sector.
Windsor-Essex Capital Angel Network (WECAN)
WECAN is a not for profit corporation, founded in 2014 with the goal of sourcing quality early stage investment opportunities and presenting them to a like-minded community of angel investors.
IncWell Venture Capital
IncWell wants to grow great ideas into great businesses by providing funding opportunities and strategic business support to entrepreneurs. Incwell is dedicated to providing support services to entrepreneurs for new startups including legal support, financial guidance and industry specific consulting for startups.

Hackforge is a shared space where creative technological minds come together and make things happen. Hackforge is a registered non-profit – Ontario Corporation. Our techspace is located in the heart of downtown Windsor. We are a community-driven organization that hosts many events and are building amazing things.
Enactus Windsor is a student-run organization founded in 2005 at the Odette School of Business. They strive to empower local members, instil entrepreneurial action, and enhance the economic health of the community by enabling the progress of student leaders and establishing sustainable projects throughout the Windsor-Essex area.
UWIN Tech Club
UWIN Tech Club’s mission is to bridge the gap between business and technology by connecting students from all backgrounds to understand the importance of technology in today’s world as well as help them prepare for a successful technology-related career.
UWIN_3D Print Club
UWIN_3D Print is a University of Windsor based 3D printing club. Their goal is to promote the concepts and practices of 3D Printing, as well as to facilitate an educational hands-on experience via workshops and events to those with an interest in 3D printing. They have a 3D technician on hand during lab hours to help members troubleshoot their 3D models, printed prototypes, fixing problems in a 3D scan and getting them ready for 3D printing. They are also here to help individuals get more familiarized with the entire 3D printing pipeline.
