Faculty Lunch n’ Learn: How an art professor teaches entrepreneurial skills

As part of the Faculty Entrepreneurship & Commercialization Lunch n’ Learn series in partnership with the Office of Research and Innovation Services (ORIS), we will feature Dr. Jennifer Willet from the School of Creative Arts in November.

This series is exclusively catered to faculty members at the University of Windsor.

November 2019 Topic: How an art professor teaches her students entrepreneurial skills

Guest Speaker: Dr. Jennifer Willet, Associate Professor, School of Creative Arts & Director, INCUBATOR Art Lab

Description: Dr. Jennifer Willet, Canada Research Chair in Art, Science and Ecology, will discuss her strategies for integrating students into her professional research and artistic activities. Through her undergraduate bioart class, the MFA program in Visual Arts, and the INCUBATOR Art Lab research group, students gain first hand experience in the entrepreneurial aspects of producing arts events, and managing an art career.
