EPICentre has partnered with the Faculty of Law at the University of Windsor to deliver EPIC Law Lunch ‘N Learns to assist current students, alumni, startups, small business owners and community members. Join us for our second lunch ‘n learn to get a crash course in copyright and trademark law. A complimentary lunch will be provided. Limited spots are available.

• Vikas Sharma will provide one-on-one sessions regarding IP Law (notably in copyright and trademarks).
• Joseph Van Asseldonk will provide one-on-one sessions regarding any aspect of Business Law.

Vikas Sharma – Vikas obtained both his Juris Doctorate and Honors in Sociology and Minor in Criminology from the University of Western Ontario. While at the University of Western Ontario, Vikas assisted many Start-Up companies in their business operations and marketing. He was also one of the initial members of the business incubator at Western University. Vikas is raised in London, Ontario and serves clients from the London and surrounding areas. In his spare time, Vikas plays the Tabla and volunteers at his local Temple. He also enjoys golfing and playing pickup basketball. Vikas is fluent in Hindi and Punjabi. He holds memberships in the Law Society of Upper Canada and the Middlesex Law Association.
Joseph Van Asseldonk – Joe is an associate in our corporate/commercial and real estate groups. His practice is focused on corporate and commercial transactions, commercial real estate, bank financing, mortgages, real estate development, as well as wills and estates. He holds memberships in the Law Society of Upper Canada and the Middlesex Law Association. Joe is an active alumnus of the Western Mustangs Varsity Athletics program.
Juliette Sakran – Juliette is a third-year law student with a Bachelor of Honours in Biomedical Science. Her passion for science and technology sparked her interest in the area of Intellectual Property. Upon completing her Juris Doctorate this May, she will be beginning her legal career with an Intellectual Property and Technology Law boutique in Toronto as an Articling Student in August 2019.
Felicia Lozon – Felicia is a second-year law student and obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science with Honours in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Windsor. Her passion for applied science and desire to incorporate legal expertise with practical knowledge sparked her interest in the area of intellectual property law. This upcoming May, she will be spending her summer working in Ottawa with a focus on Intellectual Property Law.
