EPICentre is hiring a Full-Time Entrepreneurship in Emerging Technology Research Assistant

The incumbent will be responsible for researching, developing and implementing entrepreneurship programs supporting emerging technology and related startups in WindsorEssex region as well as programming that can be integrated into academic programs in all faculties across campus.

Job Duties:
• Research, develop and implement programming suitable to support startups working in the emerging technology or related space
• Research, develop and implement programming with an emphasis on entrepreneurship and innovation that can be integrated into academic programs in all faculties across campus
• Act as a primary liaison between EPICentre, partner organizations and faculties to
• Collect relevant metrics and prepare reports for stakeholders as required
• Other duties as assigned

Term:
• One year
• Up to 35 hours per week

Required Qualification:
• University degree in a related field 
• Demonstrated experience in entrepreneurship programming especially in the emerging technology-related field
• Experience in project management or in developing and launching new programs and initiatives involving multiple constituents/clients
• Ability to analyze research data
• Strong knowledge in emerging technology industry
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with proven ability to build and maintain relationships with various stakeholders including but not limited to faculty, staff, students, alumni and external partners
• Ability to exercise tact, diplomacy and professionalism
• Strong computer skills and competency with Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Internet, social media, and video editing
• Strong communication, public speaking, organizational, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills
• Ability and willingness to work flexible hours (including weekends) as needed
• Ability and willingness to travel

Preferred Qualification:
• Graduate degree in a related field
