EPICentre would like to thank our Makerspace Lead, Nicolas de Cosson for his time with us since 2017. Nic started the UWin3D Print Club with the mission of providing a collaborative place for like-minded makers to meet and share ideas. The UWind3D Print Club was the foundation of our current makerspace, the Windsor Mold Group EPIC Makers’ Base. Nic was instrumental in establishing our makerspace. Nic holds an MFA from the University of Windsor. He is an integrated media artist where he does freelance sculptural works and a full-time quality engineer for a local engineering firm.
EPICentre would also like to congratulate Andrew D’Agostini and Clarke Gallie for completing their research assistantships with us. Andrew has just completed his BComm degree from Odette in April. He will be doing his summer Human Resources internship with FCA this summer.
Clarke will be completing his BComm degree from Odette in the Fall but has already secured a full-time position as a research assistant with CBRE Group, Inc. Both Andrew and Clarke worked on various social innovation projects such as the O’Neil Community Impact Pilot Program and the Fueling Social Enterprise Summit.
Last but not least, EPICentre welcomes a new addition to our family. Anna Paula Bento Costa, a 3rd year Business student from Federal University of Sao Paulo will be doing her 12-weeks Mitacs internship at EPICentre this summer. Anna will be working on various projects for EPICentre as well as Dr. Francine Schlosser.
