Daryna Kulia, Organizer, Product Hunt Toronto:

“Taking the CEL(Centre for Enterprise and Law)/CBAR class helped me learn the foundations of management consulting and played a big role in my career choice after graduation. Working on real world client cases was interesting and rewarding, mentorship provided by professors Jim Marsh and Francine Schlosser was top notch and connections made with fellow students lasted outside of the classroom. “

Daryna is currently living in Toronto, ON where she develops digital products and discovers emerging technologies within the enterprise. More information at: http://about.me/daryna

Success Stories

Stan Amyotte, Vice President, Substrata Thin Film Solutions:

“The University of Windsor’s EPICentre was the starting point and the spark we needed to launch our business into the real world. Starting off with no business experience, the EPICentre teamed us up with MBA students to help develop our business model, and helped us receive a $5,000 ELP internship. This was used to build a fantastic website and teamed us up with a mentor, Gerry Simpson, who continues to consult us today. By working closely with our mentor, within the EPICentre, we were able to build a strong enough business plan to be awarded with the FedDev’s Science and Engineers in Business (SEB) grant of $25,000. This allowed our brand new company to purchase all the equipment and materials needed to generate sales quickly. Simply put, the EPICentre and WEtech helped us build a solid foundation to which our business can thrive and grow. I would recommend any new entrepreneur to take full advantage of the EPICentre and WEtech’s resources and programs. With your ambition and their direction, it may be the perfect ingredients for a REAL success. Exploding with gratitude.”
