In its 3rd year, EPICentre will be presenting “New Kids on the Blockchain” symposium on Friday, November 22nd. Partnering with School of Computer Science, Office of Research and Innovations Services and Cross-Border Institute, the symposium will bring a diverse group of speakers from various industries to share their views in this year’s topic “Transformation to Decentralized System: The Future of Blockchain at Your Workplace”. Speakers will discuss how they apply blockchain technology in their businesses.
The event will take place on Friday, November 22nd, from 8:00, am to 12:00 pm at Odette School of Business Room 104. Light breakfast will be provided. Registration is free but space is limited. Click here to Register.
Two hands-on workshops will also be offered for those interested to learn how to build an application with blockchain technology. Attendees are required to bring their own laptops. The two workshops, beginner and advanced, will take place on Saturday, November 23rd from at 10:00 am and 1:00 pm, respectively. Lunch will be provided at 12:30 pm.
